January 21, Executive Board Planning Meeting for the coming year, 10am at the home of President Dee Dosch, 4359 E. Whitehall Dr. Springfield.
February 18, Antiques collector Scottie Snider to inform us about his personal collection of ‘Abe and Mary Todd Lincoln Memorabilia.’ They can now be seen at a museum at the Collage of the Ozarks.
March 18, ‘Native American Code Talkers’ by Dr. William Meadows, Professor at Missouri State University.
April 15, James Allen, who owns the Pedalers Bicycle Museum on Commercial Street will tell us about the ‘Buffalo Soldiers Bicycles’ he refurbished. He has an 1895-1896 bicycle that is practically identical to the 1897 ones he refurbished.
May 20, Initiation of new members, Memorial Service for member Patty Johnson, and Wreath-Laying ceremony for Mary Whitney Phelps at Hazelwood Cemetery immediately following the meeting.

August 10, The 162nd Anniversary of the Battle of Wilson’s Creek
September 16, Ceremony at Hazelwood Cemetery to place the marker for Private George Kirkland, Union Army 1st Missouri Volunteer Infantry, Company D. He was the son of Elizabeth Keckly, personal dressmaker for Mary Todd Lincoln. George was killed at the Civil War Battle of Wilson's Creek on August 10, 1861.
October 21, Tent 22 member Carmelita Tieskotter will give a program on her published book, Webster County Missouri Militatry Heros The Final Sacrafice.
November 18, Annual ‘White Elephant Sale’ with proceeds going to the general fund and the Patriotic Instructor’s Program.
December 16, Initiation of new officers for 2024-2026 term and Christmas Party. Also to accommodate Wreaths Across America ceremony for those participating.
